A few weeks ago, migration for sites on the Tux Reports Network began. Today, this site DNS was moved to RackSpace. Rather than simply copy the files and database, I decided to start from scratch and build a new site. This change allows me to place the activity stream onto the front page of the site – something I figured out how to do while building a child-theme for Insane Politics.

Several sites are now being hosted by RackSpace. After almost 7 years with RackForce, the server was just too old and too unstable. The Cloud Site service by RackSpace appears to be working well.

Migration is slow because I’ve decided to rework most of the sites. For example, Insane Politics is a completely new database and site structure. Several days were spent developing a unique theme for the site.
